Accessible parking is available in the main lot and in the drop-off circle beside the entrance, at the corner of South Dixie Highway and Jefferson Road.
If you arrive by Tri-Rail or Brightline, the museum says you can use Circuit, a free shuttle serving downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach, to travel to and from the Norton. The West Palm Beach transportation guide covers other ways to get around the area.
Allowing time for your visit
Set aside time for both the galleries and the Goergen Garden, then add a tour if its length fits your schedule. The museum’s two public tour formats last 30 minutes and 60 minutes, respectively. Friday’s Art After Dark hours give you until 10 PM, while on other open days the museum closes at 5 PM.
For access, the museum says its public entrances, restrooms and elevators are wheelchair accessible. Manual wheelchairs are available at Reception on a first-come, first-served basis. Trained service animals are welcome; emotional-support and comfort animals are not permitted.
You can request an American Sign Language interpreter, with three weeks’ advance notice requested by the museum. Handheld photography and video are allowed in galleries without flash, but restrictions may apply in some exhibitions, galleries and artworks. Tripods, selfie sticks, lighting equipment and auxiliary flash are not permitted.
