What can you see at Mounts Botanical Garden?

Mounts Botanical Garden brings together 25 tropical garden areas, including a butterfly garden and the Windows on the Floating World: Blume Tropical Wetland Garden. The garden grew from an old horse pasture into a living classroom, with Lake Orth developed as part of its story.
For a family visit, look for the giant green maze, koi and turtles at Lake Orth, and Treasure Trek, a scavenger hunt. Life-size replicas of Moai figures are another feature among the garden’s outdoor attractions. Fish food for koi and turtles is available for $1 at the Welcome Center.
The garden is named for Marvin Umphrey “Red” Mounts, who served the community for 40 years. He supported farm families, lectured to garden clubs and helped form Florida’s first chartered 4-H Club. For a contrasting indoor outing in West Palm Beach, the Norton Museum of Art visitor guide covers its hours, tickets and access.
